Been away from computer a couple of days. Your last post, it sounds like you have gotten into that bobcat deeper then I have ever been. I do know that when you move the speed control, the top pulley changes sizes, and the bottom one is supposed to get bigger or smaller on its own and keep the belt properly adjusted and aligned. They used to use the same principle on combines, before hydrostats, and Polaris ATV"s use it in there automatic transmissions. On Polaris, they have a govener that changes the size of the pulley depending on the speed of the engine. I almost wonder if your bottom pulley is rusted fast or whatever so that it doesn"t change size? Sorry I can"t help you more. Delbert
