OTLeech Beds???????

Anyone know anything about leech beds? Coupla years ago started to get a soupy spot quite aways out from septic tank.Somebody told me they would guess I had a broken line or my end cap had come off.Well I dug that baby up 2 days ago(that was fun)I found a pipe with no end cap just a flat rock up against it.If there was an end cap that had come off wouldnt I of found it?I put an end cap on and filled hole back up.As I look out there today theres still alot of water coming to surface,not actually flowing to top but its there,could this just be all the water that was in dirt I dug up(it was very soupy)leeching to the top,think it will evaporate?Or do I have more serious problems here.
