farmer in the making

For these past two years I have been learning a lot about farming. My family bought a small acreage of about 21 acres out by Wahoo, Nebraska.
We have bought a couple of old farmall tractors and are curently restoring them. We also wanted to plant milo for the pheasants and some sweet corn just for fun with the john deere 1240 4 row planter we bought. Now I am only 15 and I started planting the sweet corn this weekend and I have never had so much fun. It was great to see the older equipment out in a field still working. I now understand how much work the farmers do all year round, and I have plenty of respect for all of them. Thanks
