Just leave the tines off, lean the machine ahead and fill the housing with PBlaster/wd40 and then work the gear in and out with pliers, by the gear teeth. Mine did it over the winter once and awhile. Then I put some grease in there before I put the tines back on. The housing is sealed from trans and tines. Once I shut the machine off I engage the tines so this doesn't happen or aleast their engaged and will loosen with use. chris
