Glad you're checking in, Jim. I remember our comments about the trucking thing. Haven't seen the Mack, but unless someone worked it over for you (tore it up) it should give you lots of good service. Later, when things pick up, you can get a "pup" to drag behind it and double your payload. I prefer pups over end dumps as you can go so many more places and they are much safer.

In Texas we have a bridge law and if you want to haul 80,000 lbs you have to have a certain spacing between certain axles. A long tongue pup satisfies that. But if you don't have that kind of law, get a short tongue. You would be surprised how that little dude will follow you.
