A TC30 is just a plain push the clutch and put the pto in gear tractor. There"s not really much that can go wrong.
TC35-55 tractors have a hydraulic activated pto and these did have some issues like when using a rotary cutter and you shut the pto off the hyd system would enguage the pto brake. If the rotary cutter was running fast then the force of the cutter spinning could break the metal tab right off of the hydraulic brake disc. If that happens then the pto will not completely stop spinning. Smaller TC series have simple manually shifted PTO"s like your TC30. Installing an overrunning clutch on the pto shaft of the larger tractors will completely eliminate the danger of damaging them.
