Hours on a tractor vrs Miles on a car

I would like to get some opinions on tractor hours by guys who own tractors. What is high hours on a tractor? I have a 3 cylinder gas tractor with a ford 175 CI engine which has approx 4500 hours. The tractor starts and runs great and 99% of the time you cannot even see smoke!

Is this the norm? How about diesel engines as well? What is considered HIGH HOURS?
