Hi Joe, No amount of changing oil weights, changing gauges, putting on more band-aids, Ace Wraps, Lip Balm or adding magic fairy dust is gonna change the fact. If the oil pressure is dropping to 5 lbs when it comes up to temp, that engine is screamin' at you that it has excessive oil clearances. Also, I sometimes wonder if/when a feller gets to this point where he has to open 'er up for a set of bearings, then maybe he would be wiser to just go all the way and overhaul the derned old thing? 'Cause, the longer a guy runs it, the better the chances become of ruining that crankshaft. Dunno Pard, she don't sound good; good luck with 'er. :>( Allan
