1964 ford 4000 hydraulic

I have a 1964 4000 ford when the tractor is started the engine has to run three or four minutes before the lift will raise can someone tell me if the oil in the differial and transmission is the same as the hydraulic Is there a hydraulic filter for the lift? This tractor is forty years old and the hydraulic oil has never been changed to the best of my knowledge.If the hydraulic is different from the trans and diff where do you drain it? I need to know how to change the hydraulic oil and the type of oil to use
