find a 1/4 inch thick piece of steel. cut in a circle 1 inch larger than the rear of the crank shaft.transfer punch the hole pattern of the flywheel onto the plate.drill the plate,then use it as a tool to install the seal.place the seal in the housing then draw the center ring and the seal housing with the flywheel bolts.this method will not set the final depth of the ring.the flywheel will set the final depth when it is installed
