The last time we had trespassers at night, three stratigically placed 12 gauge high brass number sixes took care of the desire to rob and trespass. The shells some how found the rear glass and taillights of the car they were riding in and the other found the back side of some one running away. The next day it was all over town that you don't want to go out to nugent center headquarters of Wilson Farms because he'll shoot you first and ask questions later. That was Mississippi and thirty years ago. Force is the biggest deterent of all. If the thief thinks he has the upper hand he'll use it against you. My daddy always told me never keep a gun with me unless I was willing to pull the trigger because if you can't pull the trigger someone will take it away from you and use it one you. The law is in your favor; use it. I know we feel today that the criminals have more rights than we do but it's just not the case. If you raise enough sand, they will have to listen and do something.
