I would suggest somting with locking brake pedals foot clutch and a good road gear. I"m not sure hows familiar the guy is with a hand clutch so I would stay away from the dears and some wheatland tractors.

I suggest a hundred or hundred-fifty series Farmall. Not that I am biased but these tractors are comfortable and look really good shined up. Also I think he could pick up a 50 or 55 series Oliver say a 1655 or so that would be comfortable for such a long journey but that might be harder to store.

So go for a 300-450 Farmall wf, gasser with a TA and lights.
