Sounds like the guy wants a rig thats just "turn key and go" litterally. I would think to steer him towards any rig that just uses a key to start. Probly something with a foot clutch would be good. And brakes that can be locked together for road travel. Sometimes brake pedals on both sides take a newcomer a long time to figure out. A gas engine would maybe be better too, in that if he was to accidently put gas in the diesel, it wont work too good. But a little diesel in the gas wont kill anything.
That"s what I"m thinking anyway.
