I musta took the same class but I was in 4th grade. They bussed us to the highschool to use the typewriters.
I do tech support and we hired a guy about 6 months ago. I had to train him and the first day I had him on the phone with customers I realized he couldn't type. For the first couple days I did his notes for him because he was soooo slow. Finally I made him go out and buy typing tutor software... He upgraded to 2 fingers on each hand in 6 months, but his speed about trippled so I don't complain.
