I'm with you on the old manual typewriters. I was in the last class at my highschool to use them. Typing on a computer is a breeze compared to those old beasts. I remember truing to break 40 words per minute and then hoping that your fingers would hold out. I could barely make to 40 wpm until the electrics arrived and then 60 wpm didn't seem too hard.

If you spend any time using one of those old girls, it will give you great respect for the ladies who used to work in the "typing pool" 8 hours a day.
