Here we go again.... It's gonna be a busy one here this week. Friday is the Kentucky Oaks, Saturday is The Derby, then Sunday is Mothers Day. Three of the four busiest days of the year for us. (Easter being #2 behind Mothers Day) Spent the entire day bush hogging yesterday. 7AM 'till 8:30PM. I mowed 56 acres at a horse farm just east of Louisville, in preparation for a Kentucky Derby party there this weekend. Shortly after I started, about 75 hot air balloons went over. The Kentucky Derby Great Balloon Race was on! The first one I saw was the Energizer Bunny Balloon. I'm pluggin' along, about half asleep, and look up in the air to see a great big PINK bunny floating by..........HMMMMMMMMMMMMM That'll get your attention. A little later, I saw the biggest Tom turkey I've ever seen. (Turkey season is on in Kentucky right now. This one was kinda bold for "a wanted bird") Hope everyone has a great week.
