That is not too bad of a price. I put up a 22' X 50' X 8' ceiling on one course of block for $20,000 that is with all concrete work and a 10X10 breezeway attached to the house, with concrete for that too. I build it in 2000. The siding is T1-11. I am in the process of insulating a 28X20 area inside of it for a workshop. You could reduce the width of your shop to 20' and increase the length of the shop and I think that would reduce the cost becasue of truss length, you would have to price it out.
You can also reduce cost by going with a less pitch roof, mine is a 5/12.
