While walking out of the farm store with my new live trap,I met a a hunter/trapper buddy who asked what I was going to do with the trap? Told him I had a coon problem. his second question was what I was going to use for bait. He said that if you use cat food/dog food/meat,that all you will catch is cats. He said to use small marshmellows,cats dont like em,coons love em. Many a big coon has given his life for a sweet creamy,sugar coated marshmellow. Over 100 at last count.
