ignition switch. Yep ignition awitch that ford used was not real robust and when it gets 30 or 40 years on it a bit gunked up tha contacts have enough resistance to shut the machine down. Jumper around the swutch to test. Be careful because you will be also bypassing the neutral sfety when doing this and the tractor will start in gear and run over your ash!
