Hot water and a stuck engine.

Has any body ever tried running hot water in the cooling system of a stuck engine to help unlock it?? I've been thinking about setting up a rig to do that, I fugure if the engine got up close to as hot as it would be when running it might help unlock a stuck engine. Of course I'd still do the oil/tranny fluid /turpentine thing first.
