Had one of these yahoos call me a few years ago, with the same kind of pitch. I told him I don't buy any product like that over the phone, because any chemical I need, I can get locally so I know who I'm dealing with and what I'm buying. He said "Thanks, sh*thead" and hung up. Another time, a woman called saying I had sent in a "reader response card" from some farm magazine, inquiring about their new herbicide. I stopped her in mid-sentence and told her I don't send those cards in---ever. She got huffy and started mumbling about ME wasting HER time. I ain't the one who made the phone call, and it cost me just as much time as it did her.
