The 8N is a simple tractor to work on, and (IMHO) the best thing you can get (without spending big bucks), to do brush hogging, discing, plowing, harrowing, and other light duty stuff around the farm. I've got a 1949 8N, I use it on my 101 acre farm for more things then my Farmall 460. Easy on gas, easy to fix, cheap to run, cheap to find - what more do you want? I've also got a loader that comes in handy when I need it.
