The Leyland 2100"s PTO runs off a separate shaft from the engine. One possibility, is that the lever that switches from 540 to 1000 is in between the 2 in a neutral possition. Try depressing the PTO clutch, and shove it into 540 or 1000 with a little extra force. I remeber that happening to me once, and paniked, and thats what was wrong. Worst case senario, is that the shaft that drives the PTO and hydralics, has failed. If that has happened, the hydralics, shouldn"t work. Did you hear anything go bang when it happened? Have you had problems with the engine coming out of line with the transmission previously? IF so this may have contributed to the shaft that drives the PTO to fail, and possibly the bearing that holds the shaft at the front of the transmission. I hope this is of some use to you. Let me know what it turns out to be. John Robinson
