You have obviously never belonged to a labor union. I am a railroad brakeman and would never consider doing that work without the union. Unions help keep our workplace reasonably safe, provide good pay and benefits, and help protect us from the greedy railroad's bull%#*@. A lot of the things Americans take for granted today like paid holidays, paid vacations, health insurance, and workplace saftey are because of the struggles of labor unions. It couldn't possibly be the gazillion dollar salaries that the higher up executives get paid that makes their products so expensive.
