Went through the same problem back in September of 91 getting my Dodge Cummins. Wanted a regular cab as an extended cab is the uglyist thing to ever happen to any pickup. If you found a dealer that had any version of the truck on their lot, they would not trade with other dealers and any barganing on the price was out of the question. The dealers wanted to keep a least one truck on their lot to draw people in. Ordering a new one meant a 4 month wait at the time. Had to give $18,500 for it back then. It`s my only vehical. Still have it, and have never needed any repairs to the engine as of yet. Do wish Dodge would learn how to stick paint to tin however. John
