i have a 1963 sears suburban 725 http://www.geocities.com/searstractors/old_suburbans/1963Suburban725.JPG this might not be the exact model but its the closest picture ive found. can anybody tell me how the reverse mechanism works. belts run from the engine to the rear of the tractor, then there is a double pully, one pull runs freely, another is attached to the drive, between them seems to be some kind of friction plate/clutch. in front of the steering colum is a lever with a steel cable attached to it, this cable runs to an odd mechanism at the back of the tractor, a metal wheel that rubs against the belt, and then a pully that lines up with the outer of the two pullys with the clutch plate inbetween, does anyone know how this works/any advice at all i can not figure it out
