Chad, I'm fairly familiar with the W9 and WD9. When you mention 16" rims I'm presuming your meaning 16" width rear rims (not 16" front rims- front should be 18" tire size). The W9 used a 34" regular rim as used on John Deere, Case and many others. I'm not sure what the rim width was but it was intended to use a 14/16.9 X 34 or 15/18.4 X 34 tire. If you want wider rims as I see in your picture, these rims would be from a W600 or W650 tractor. When IHC updated and changed the W9 it became the W600 and then the W650. One of the changes was wider rims with loops attached for mounting the rim to the cast wheel. These will bolt right to your W9 cast wheel center. The bolt pattern is the same. You can also use the original style rim on your tractor which you will find on John Deere 80/820/830 or Case 500/600/900 and many others. These will attach to your tractor using the bolts and clamps that you have. If you have other questions just post.

Lets examine the purpose and design of these fasteners in order to ensure their proper use. Fasteners are probably one of the aspects of mechanics that is given the least amount of thought.
