I think you have got it about right. I pulled a 14 ft JD BWA with my 730D and it was a good match. I put it on the JD 830 and it was very undersized. I tried an 18 ft IH 480 behind the JD 830 and it was also a good match. Ran an IH 490 21 ft with tractor duals and it was all the girl could handle. Really was too much. We had a IH 370 12 ft behind a MF 265 and it could handle a little more, but not more than 14 ft.
