Does not matter if you use nichol or steel rods hot or cold,it will seperate again unless you just let it lay on the table and look at it." Sorry dude, but that"s crap. Here we go again with the welding cast iron thing. Of COURSE cast can be welded! If it CANNOT be I wish someone would kindly TELL us so we"d stop DOING it as we have since 1942! IF you DO wind up getting it welded ALWAYS reinforce whenever possible....NOT because of the weld but because is wasn"t strong enough to begin with.
