Think newer rather than older. 4WD IH's you list won't have the turning radius you need for haymaking, and parts for the Elwood/Coleman axles are expensive and hard to find. There is a fair amount of Oliver expertise in Central NY, but parts availability on Olivers and particularly Molines isn't going to get any better as time goes on. if I were you, I would look at the 7000, 2WD 1066, 986, or 966. The Ford won't have great visibility or hydraulic flow, but probably will be the lowest cost, and depending on condition could easily be the best value. Shifting linkages on 66 and especially 86 series IH's can be problematic, check out any tractor before sale day.
