I did a J D B many years ago for a guy he forgot todrain it and it broke a big pice out of the bottom of the block we found most of the pices and like a jigsaw puzzel we fitted them all back that we could find i pre heated the block with a rose bud tip cleaned the pices up wit a grinder and started tacken them in then went in with the grinder and Vee them out and started stich welding them in with Ni cast and peened after i would weld about and inch and a half kept it up till i had to do the bridge work and filled in with weld kept the heat on for a while then started backing the heat down , now to my knolage that when the old man died and the old Deere sold at his sale it was still running and not leaking.
