hi, i have about 40 acres out in western NY and i need a tractor to mow it with. I am going to be useing a brush hog so i fugured i needed something with a good amount of power. I had a farmer useing the land but he went out of bussiness. It hasent been mowed for a year and since we did have someone farm the grass is very tall. There are two tractors i am looking at right now and im not sure which one or nethier would be the better choice. There is a Ford 61 which is assume is a Ford 611? The add says "Ford 61,3PT, high and low,4spd,Power steering, New 12v batt., good tires, rear main oil leak? $2500 firm" The other is an international 300. This ad says " International Farmall 300,wide front end, w/loader, needs minor work. $2300." I was just wondering what you guys think would be the better tractor for the job or if you think they are not good choices at all. I dont mind working on them either and i have to be able to haul it with my truck. Thanks Emil
