needle valve won't quit leaking

I have a Zenith carb that was leaking so I bought a rebuild kit and took it apart. It seemed pretty clean inside but I replaced all the parts and cleaned everything up and put it back together. It still leaks. I put it in a glass jar like the picture in stuck and troubled and it leaks past the needle valve. About a drip every 6 seconds. I have adjusted the float six ways from sunday and it won"t stop that last little drip. What is my problem?? What else can I try??It is a new valve and guide. Even tried the old valve as well. I would like to get this perfect if possible. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.
