The Iron Duke is a later 4 cyl cast iron head/block engine that was loosly based on the 60's Chevy 2 engines.I dont believe there is any parts interchange between chevy 2 and iron duke engines. Almost all the industrial 4 cyl Chevy engines were the early Chevy 2 version. Several brands of self propelled swathers(Massey,Oliver,Owatona) used the 4 cyl Chevy 2 engines. I never found any ag tractor applications for chevy engines. The later style 250-292 6 cyl was used in various combines, but I do not recall any usage of the old style 235 engines in ag stuff.
