The Cletrac General was sold by Cleveland in 1942. I think if you realy dig ino the sale, Uncle Sam may have had a hand in it. Remember this is war time and Cletrac could not keep up with military orders and that is where the John Deere built Cletracs come in at. I looked at a war years stock report for Cleveland tractor one time and they made mention that parts common to the HG and the departed General now B. F. Avery A were manufactured for B. F. Avery by Cletrac. There are quite a few changes in the Moline BF models. Questions?
