I've never used anything BUT Pennzoil. Never had an engine failure yet, other than one tractor I bought WITH a blown engine already. I run about 60,000 a year in my pick-up. 4 tractors, a grain truck 2 lawn mowers, a combine, the wifes car, and several small engines. NOTHING BUT PENNZOIL! My dad would run whatever was cheap. Never the same brand twice in a row. Mixed everything. Never had any trouble there either. Just keep oil in the danged thing (Hear that Big Mike????) I also use Pennzoil hydraulic fluid.... And Fram filters or John Deere filters. (K&N AIR FILTER on the Dodge/Cummins) More important than BRANDS is changing oil and filters, and keeping everything else working properly on your vehicles. Did I mention I use ONLY Pennzoil????
