Or you can look at the 12v SurFlo Vitone(seal type) pumps as they will pump diesel/oils. Rated at 2.8gpm@35psi and comes with a pressure switch for about $80. The 1.5gpm pump, about $60.

There a diaphram pump so there good for flamable liquids.

The Surflo pumps are the same pumps you buy for RV's water pumps so all RV supply co's carry them.

I have one on my diesel transfer tank that I use with a 12v lawn & garden battery. With two fuel filters, one 10micron, one 2micron in series, I get about 1.2gpm flow.
