Old Tractor Equip. Wrenches

Question about old wrenches that came with tractors & plows... I have accumulated a bunch of these lately at the flea markets. I even got a Buffalo Pitts one with original paint, However, most are rusty, as I get them, I place them in a bucket of LPS penetrating oil. Will it hurt the value of them to use a coarse wire wheel to get the rust off, or is it better to leave them as they are. Looking at the sites for tool auctions, some of these wrenches bring good money, & I do not want to devalue them.
