I think the sandies like the short ones. Have a grown (45 year old) ex-coworker whose hobby is "dunein" (with the teenagers) and he likes the short height widely spaced bars on really fat tires.

Asked him what the flag was for. Said so that the guy coming up the other side of the dune can see you before you smack into each other. Don't personally see how that could help as they are both pointed up and the flags are tilted back. Seems impossible....but whadda I know.

One thing for sure. If they buy an old tractor with old tires and they don't work they can always go and buy new ones.
