On the 100 series Fords made from 55-62 (from 58 on they were XX1), the middle number 6 indicates live PTO -- that was standard, not an option. For example, 660, 860, 661 Workmaster, 861 Powermaster all had live PTO standard.

I"m not sure about those Select-O-Speeds witht the middle numbers X7X and X8X.
