Frank: Have used the black pepper many times over the years, never really had a failure with it either. Like Averyman said some of the pepper fixes went for years rather than just a quick fix to get you home. One of the first times I ever used it, my dad had a new Chevy dump truck with 366 engine. Turning on some crushed stone front tire flipped a crushed stone, made a hole in rad, size of a lead pencil. My dad and I were both skeptical on that one, but in an isolated area we didn't have a lot of choice. Pepper stopped the leak and 100,000 miles later it was still holding. That made me a believer.
