Just restored one of each, and I found the Ford easier to work on, parts more readily available, and the tractor is much more "user friendly". True the WD is a bigger tractor and has more power, but has so much "stuff" hung on it, that repairing or restoring was a pain. Also, getting on and off is like trying to mount a tall horse. If $ a concern-- go with the "N"
