350 Chevy Motor

I need a 350 chevy motor, around 1982. The motor I removed is a 4 bolt main bearing. It seams the 4 bolt block is a little hard to find, a lot of places have the 2 bolt main blocks. If I get a 2 bolt main block, will this fall apart in a short time? Not heavy pulling involved. The motor removed is no good, was run out of oil (not by me) and broke the crank, and spun a main. Thanks for any help. Stan
