ball hitch in bucket

I worked for a guy recently that had ball mounted on a thick steel bar. He'd drilled two holes through it and matching holes in the bottom section of the bucket. Then he bolted the bar & hitch to the bucket so that the ball on the steel bar extended beyond the forward edge of the bucket. He could remove it when he wanted to use the bucket for other purposes. I used the tractor to push a large cart carrying leaves from the yard. It was lots easier to steer going forward than trying to back up a cart. You might try something like that. But I agree with everyone else's comments: get yourself a set of double ring chains if you plan to use a tractor when there's any snow about. Good luck! Carl S.
