going backwards in snow

Hi all. I have learned that my tractor does not go backwards very well at all in snow. I couldn"t even back a hay rack into the barn yesterday. It didn"t help that the ground was not frozen hard yet as I began to dig some ruts. I have a loader on the front and 850lbs of rear wheel weights. What else can I do? Is there an easy way to put a hitch on the bucket to push wagons with it? Thanks for any suggestions.
