I was just looking at two HGs a guy has for sale. One has a Wisconsin 2 cylinder TF engine and the other has a Chevette engine. As for the latter, the Chevette engine was bad enough in its original home. I've got a several side-photos of the Bombardier half tracks installed on an 8N. Uses rubber tires for bogies. I could scan and send to you, or - if you have access to these books - it's on page 111 - THE BIG BOOK OF FARM TRACTORS, Voyageur Press, 2001, ISBN 0-89658-471-2 Another book shows the Blackhawk halftrack on an 8N that looks almost the same - in FARM TRACTORS - A LIVING HISTORY, 1995, Motorbooks International, ISBN 0-7603-0030-5. In that setup, it states the bogies are 5" X 15" implement tires, track pads are 13" or 16" with 1" grousers. Track width adjustable to 52", 56", or 60" centers. As far as the guy that I know that has the setup - he got it all in pieces, never seen it installed - probably wants to sell it.

Lets examine the purpose and design of these fasteners in order to ensure their proper use. Fasteners are probably one of the aspects of mechanics that is given the least amount of thought.
