Don"t know really, but as you probably know the squeal is caused by the brake vibrating at high frequency. May be oval drum, lack of lubrication (on the appropriate parts), poor retaining springs, that brake only just being applied, or only one shoe working properly, etc.
You might try putting a slight chamfer on the leading edges of the linings, and also checking the shoes are not running on a high ridge on the drum leaving part of the shoe not contacting properly
