Norgeman: You've allready had most of the good candidates mentioned, Fiat and Oliver 550 are other possibilities. However, Cowman came with the very best suggestion of all with the MF 35 or 135. Buy it in diesel version. They are just leap years ahead of everything else in that hp class, and a utility type tractor. The Perkins diesel will run forever and you will have to work it hard to burn 5 gal of fuel per day.
