I use the type that goes in the Head and heats the water. It warms it up nice just being on 30 mins. The one I use on the School Bus is on for 2 hours befor starting and no problems there either. I have used the Bus one for 30 mins and it started fine also but I like the water warmer to heat the large area inside. There are different wattages for the heaters some are 500 watts and some up to 1,200 watts! Try it for 30 mins and see how it starts for you, might save some on the electric bill doing it. Mark H.
