Wulff Man, I run a set of 18.4 X 34 Galaxys on my 966. Plus carring 750 lbs of cast on each rear corner. They have been on since summer of 97 They are tough and still look very good.
It was my understanding that Galaxy makes a lot of Industrial/Earthmoving type tires when I got my set. So being tough was just understood.
I have been very pleased with them. Go ahead and put a full set on.
